A solo exhibition of Kohei Kawasaki is held from December 7th(Sat) to 21st(Sat) at Yuki-sis Gallery. In this exhibition, we present around seven pieces of the artist's new LED-using art works.

   Rather than simply using the material to create the image, the artist is aware of the "potential or possibility" of the materials when putting them together. As a result, the structure of the artworks formed beautifully and unexpectedly. By adding special oil into the acrylic material, it puts out each others presence. This gave the audience a　feeling and an imagination of lives floating in the enormous universe. His precise ability of observation for the material, and the pursuit for the beauty of the shapes create a unique aesthetic of the time and space.

   Kohei Kawasaki was born in 1972, Tokyo. Graduated from the Musashino Art University with a master degree of sculpture, Kawasaki has numerous experiences of solo exhibitions domestically. He received a high evaluation of owning an original view of the world for his art program "存在を超えて" in 2012. The intellective style of his art works is also highly popular internationally, and the artworks were sold out in the art fair in Taipei and New York.
